Joakem at Limassol Acoustic Festival 2018

Limassol acoustic festival is a free to the public festival that is taking place every summer in the beautiful city of Limassol. For the first time it will be organised for two consecutive days: An acoustic act day and a full band day. On the first day I will perform originals from my upcoming album with Elias Chrysochos on guitars and my self on piano and voice and on the second day I will perform with Slightly Offensive. Be sure to attend this amazing festival!

About “Joakem”

Joakem (Stelios Ioakim) is a Cyprus based musician, composer, vocalist and keyboardist that writes and performs powerful but at the same time atmospheric progressive rock music. Joakem began his musical path as a classical pianist but later on evolved to become a sound exploring keyboardist, vocalist and composer. He formed several bands with which he has performed extensively and has gained international publicity after being the finalist of The Voice of Greece in 2017, taking second place. In February of 2018 he released his first solo work, the progressive rock single called “The Path” followed by his second single released in November 2018 titled “Generation Z”. On December 7th 2018 he released his debut 8 track album, titled “Mind Matter”. Musically the album is a blend of complex melodies and time signatures, heavy synth sounds, aggressive guitars, intricate drum patterns and a blend of different vocal techniques.
